Nikki + Jacob I Fort Worth, TX

Nikki + Jacob’s wedding was a zoo. No, I’m kidding. But their ceremony and reception were totally at the Fort Worth Zoo! In fact, the whole day consisted of a lot of firsts for Two Pair. First zoo wedding, first Jewish ceremony, first penguin, aligator, and parrot at a reception, first all pie dessert table, first famous reception band, first Hora, first groom to make homemade Pomegranate Wine for his guests as favors… I tell you what, it was one INCREDIBLE day!

Nikki + Jacob totally hit the nail on the Two Pair head. Their hearts run endlessly deep for one another. It’s a kinda love that is charm, whit, experience and a roll-with-the-punches attitude that is irresistible. Their day was so unique due to their ability to be themselves 100% unapologetically. From the pie toppers painted to reflect their exact outfits of the day to the wild animals that roamed around the cocktail hour, no detail was forgotten. They had a vision and it was evident they made it work! I can’t express how much we LOVE couples with their own identity, personality, and inspirational love for one another.:)

Harvey - cool stuff — did you two go to school for photography or did you pick it up on your own?2010/10/13 – 4:20 pm

Brent - LOVE these photos. I’ve said it before that I love your photos. The way you photograph these weddings makes me want to be those people, in a cool way, in a those people must have the coolest lives kind of way.

I liked them so much I was showing them to my office mate here in Armenia. She doesn’t know much about American wedding customs and thought this wedding looked amazing. And of course, now she’ll likely think that penguins and ‘gators are regularly in attendance.2010/10/14 – 3:38 am

Chad Zellner - @stephanie I love the penguin too. He would bow when someone got close to him and now I want one. The zoo brought them in for a portion of the reception. Pretty awesome.2010/10/16 – 7:35 am
